Description
We are currently looking for a Part Time 38 Laundry and Transportation Attendant to join our team located at the Chickasaw Laundry Service.
Summary:
Operates Garment Inventory Management System, conveyors and performs daily physical labor necessary to run the laundry department. This position drives a tribal vehicle in the pickup and delivery of linens from hospitality facilities.
Responsibilities:
Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types

Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made

Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
Sweeps, mops, dusts, vacuums and performs basic cleaning and janitorial procedures
Commercial laundry operations
Manually operates the following equipment: EVue, washing/drying machine, ironing/pressing equipment and conveyor equipment
Carries uniforms, hotel laundry and other supplies to and from the uniform distribution vehicles
Cleans garments daily to ensure stains are pretreated prior to dry cleaning
Prepares laundry for delivery to facilities by pressing, steaming, and inspecting ensuring department quality standards are being maintained
Verifies quantities being shipped to and received from the facility by counting each garment
Sorts laundry by tag numbers to ensure orderly storage and processing of items
Transports, via tribal vehicle, linens and/or uniforms to and from facilities including loading, unloading, and sorting to ensure the cargo is delivered timely and safely
Performs all other duties as assigned
