Position Overview QinetiQ is seeking a Senior Engineering professional to support the NRO Operations Squadron with Launch Sustainment efforts in Colorado Springs, CO. This role will directly support engineering and operations for NRO Launch Systems and Missions. Specific responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: Responsibilities Maintain mission and facility systems to support NOPS launch and on-orbit operations Develop, provide and maintain a Systems Engineering Management Plan, a Configuration Management Plan, Requirements Plans, Document Control Plans, etc. Develop and implement life cycle maintenance and sustainment processes and overarching O&M program guidelines for facilities, systems, and software Develop and implement a Government approved system architecture and evolution for all assigned infrastructure, S/W, H/W, database, and mission systems Estab1ish and maintain a comprehensive Environmental Safety and Health (ESH) program, including training, to assure a safe and healthy workplace in compliance with all Federal, state and local environmental, ESH regulations Establish and maintain a comprehensive Security program, including training, to assure a secure workplace in compliance with Intelligence Community Directive 503: intelligence Community Information Technology Systems Security Risk Management, Ce11ification, and Accreditation and other security regulations Draft briefings and provide support to the OSL in preparing for and conducting required meetings, briefings, reviews and readiness assessments support technical and programmatic meetings Support planning, integration, for critical space launch support systems Required Qualifications 5 years general experience TS/SCI with a CI/Poly; 2 years NRO experience Bachelors in a STEM field Preferred Qualifications 8 years of experience 5 years NRO experience Masters degree in a STEM field Company EEO Statement Accessibility/Accommodation: If because of a medical condition or disability you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please send an e-mail to or call Opt. 4 and let us know the nature of your request and contact information.
