Position: Landscape Residential Account Manager
Status: Full-Time (Salaried)
Hours: Mon-Fri 6:30am-4:30pm

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:
Client is a family-owned and professionally operated full-service landscape maintenance, design, and building company operating out of Mt. Airy, MD. They have over 25 years of experience providing quality landscaping services for both residential and commercial properties from start to finish. They are currently seeking an experienced and professional Residential Account Manager for our growing company. This position requires leadership and sound project management experience to support the growth goals of the company. Applicants should demonstrate residential project experience with excellent management and communication skills. This position is responsible for managing the field operations including scheduling, labor, materials and equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage high end residential landscape maintenance and enhancement projects
  • Directly manage supervisor and crews
  • Monitor quality, build, and maintain relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service
  • Resolve customer issues and process requests
  • Schedule and manage 2-4 crews
  • Monitor and report on job progress
  • Estimate and propose enhancement work
  • Seek new opportunities in areas we are already servicing
  • Ensure the safe and efficient execution of all project work
  • Oversee employee training
  • Operate heavy equipment, work truck, and trailer
  • Manage equipment maintenance and cleanliness
  • Perform physical labor while working alongside the landscape team
  • Work in all weather conditions
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4 year minimum of residential landscape experience
  • Ability to think through problems and achieve effective solutions
  • Energetic, organized, and motivated
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Knowledge of snow removal operations
  • Knowledge of trade equipment, i.e. backhoe, mini-excavator, and loaders, etc.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Lifting & Carrying - Regularly lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objects such as bags of soil, mulch, pavers, tools, and equipment (typically 50+ lbs).
  • Bending & Kneeling - Frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling to plant, weed, and perform ground-level tasks.
  • Standing & Walking - Prolonged standing and walking on uneven terrain, often for long hours in various weather conditions.
  • Pushing & Pulling - Using force to push or pull wheelbarrows, lawnmowers, and other landscaping equipment.
  • Climbing - Occasional climbing on ladders or slopes to trim trees, hedges, or install landscape features.
  • Repetitive Motions - Performing repetitive hand and arm movements, such as raking, digging, pruning, and using power tools.
  • Exposure to Elements - Working outdoors in extreme heat, cold, rain, or humidity for extended periods.
