We have an exciting opportunity for a career & growth-minded Landscaping Sales & Design Associate to join our team, combining strong design experience with a passion for business development. They'll be responsible for providing clients with unique design ideas, developing & communicating proposals, and closing the sale. Our ideal Landscaping Sales & Design Associate is positive, proactive, and professional. They are creative and inspired with a passion for creating beautiful, unique landscapes, and an ability to communicate design ideas in a way that creates excitement and passion for the client.

Our Landscaping Sales & Design Associate position offers a base salary of $73,000 with commission opportunities providing total compensation up to $110,000. We offer a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401k, 3 weeks of paid time off and a company vehicle. Responsibilities for our Landscaping Sales & Design Associate:
  • Performing site analyses that include the assessment of current plants, soil conditions, lighting, the view, and architecture style of the house
  • Developing design approaches that meet their desires within the site's potential
  • Creating rough drawings and more sophisticated plans with computer-aided design (CAD) programs
  • Analyzing complex environmental reports and using the knowledge gained in designs/plans
  • Providing recommendations on conservation and sustainability issues
  • Drawing up reports and contracts
  • Writing proposals and presenting them to clients
  • Closing the sale with clients
  • Liaising with fellow architects, project managers, engineers, and surveyors
  • Speaking to locals and community members to gain insight
Requirements for our Landscaping Sales & Design Associate:
  • 2+ years of client-facing sales experience
  • 3+ years of experience in residential landscape design or architecture
  • Excellent plant, irrigation, grading, and drainage knowledge for landscape plans
  • Excellent pool, hardscape, outdoor kitchen, fire and water features, and carpentry knowledge for construction plans
  • Creative critical thinking and analysis
  • Ability to use CAD and 3D design software
  • Experience with or ability to quickly learn LMN software for estimating
  • Portfolio of past projects
