Land Coordinator

Position Summary: The Land Coordinator is responsible for providing field and administrative support in managing all aspects of land development projects. Manages invoice processing and vendor set-up for the Land Department. Maintains land reporting documents and spreadsheets.
Essential Functions: Core duties or tasks that are fundamental and not marginal to the performance of the job.
- Act as accounting liaison for Land Department to include receiving invoices, coding and ledger entries; prepares check requests for permit fees, HOA deficient funding requests and bonds.
- Establish new vendors for Land Department.
- Order and maintain active lists for all letter of credits or bonds associated with land development.
- Maintain land files to include contracts, plats, CCR's, permits, budgets, bonds and letters of credit.
- Monitor development activities on lot purchase deals and ensure compliance with the terms of purchase agreement. Complete lot acceptance check list prior to closing on lots.
- Inspect finished lots for completion and manage formal turn over to the Construction Team.
- Coordinate NPDES/NOI filings on upcoming and existing communities.
- Coordinate with entitlements, civil engineers, and jurisdictional agencies.
- Process all HOA Architectural Review requests. Assist with other HOA functions as needed.
- Obtain and maintain Home Architectural Plan approvals on new and existing communities.
- Create Lot Matrix and other start-up documents for new communities.
- Assist in the preparation of department policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support for all Land Department staff.
- Provide administrative support in other areas as needed.
Minimum Job Requirements: Education: Associates degree in Real Estate, Business or closely related field with working knowledge of land development processes; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
Experience: 3 - 5 years administrative experience including industry experience

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Internet, SMART software (propreitary software)
