This position will be with LandBridge Company, LLC, an affiliate of WaterBridge Operating, LLC.
Summary of Position:The Land Analyst will process new leases, contracts, drafts, and assignments, including file setup and computer input. The successful candidate will also provide contract analyst support, review check requests, and assist in preparing various documents.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:The following represents most of the position's duties but is not meant to be all-inclusive or prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary. Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory, environmental, and safety rules and standards, as well as corporate policies.
As a Land Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Scanning checks, letters, notices, agreements, contracts, etc., and uploading to SharePoint.
- Keeping SharePoint files neat and organized.
- Preparing cover letters and FedEx packages.
- Assisting in preparing contracts, agreements, correspondence, and various land documents to be transmitted to industry partners.
- Reviewing and understanding the various SUAs affecting lands owned by LandBridge.
- Updating Line List of any new Easements or assets affecting lands owned by LandBridge.
- Tracking any upcoming or outstanding payments owed to LandBridge.
- Tracking any deadlines for applications or payment obligations owed by LandBridge.
- Working with Accounting to supply support, agreements, emails, etc., for any revenue received.
- Researching the county's public records to record information or confirm ownership.
- Researching TRRC or DrillingInfo for well statuses.
- Understanding and adhering to all Safety and Environmental rules and regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:- Must have 2+ years of recent related experience including Oil and Gas land contracts.
- A bachelor's degree is required. Oil and Gas or Energy-related fields are preferred.
- E&P Operator or Landowner-related experience and other land work experience are a plus.
- Strong computer skills, including highly proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other oil and gas websites and software.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of easements
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform duties at a fast pace with a high level of accuracy.
- Have strong social skills and the ability to work well with others.
- An action-oriented personality with a strong sense of initiative, motivation, and drive.
