POSITION DESCRIPTION:


We have an immediate need for a Laboratory Technician at our headquarters in Dayton, OH. The ideal candidate will have experience with Chemical Formulations for Industrial Detergents or other closely related product areas. This individual will assist our Formulation Chemists as they develop compound and/or custom formulations within a product grouping such as food sanitation, parts washing, vehicle cleaning, odor control and may assume other responsibilities for development of very unique solutions.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Perform quality control checks on chemical samples (pH, Specific Gravity, etc.)

Perform titrations on chemical samples and create titration charts

Sample preparation (prepare experimental samples)

Perform experiments and record data

Maintain laboratory cleanliness

Perform quality assurance inspections on incoming raw materials and manufactured concentrates

Order laboratory supplies

Required Skills/Abilities:

Associates Degree in a Physical Science Field and/or Equivalent Laboratory Experience

Computer proficiency

Good oral and written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize daily tasks

Familiarity with the safe handling of chemicals in a laboratory
