Job Summary:
The Laboratory Support role is responsible for assisting in the execution of routine scientific experiments and laboratory procedures under supervision. This position ensures all work is conducted in a safe, ethical, and compliant manner, primarily within a laboratory environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine laboratory procedures and assays (eg, bacterial culture, ELISA, Luminex, PCR) under supervision.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist in the execution of experiments and apply basic scientific principles with guidance.
- Maintain accurate and compliant laboratory records and data in accordance with internal policies and regulations.
- Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to lab safety practices and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Prior laboratory experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity in data handling, and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Familiarity with basic lab techniques and scientific principles.
