Laboratory Assistant Certified

•  Accurately evaluates specimen orders and enters clinical data into computer systems, ensuring completeness and correcting errors.
•  Operates automated/semi-automated laboratory equipment and follows safety, infection control, and hazardous material protocols.
•  Documents logs, quality control, labels reagents, and maintains/cleans lab equipment and glassware.
•  Manages inventory, orders, receives, stocks, and tracks lab supplies/equipment.
•  Handles biohazard waste, monitors equipment calibration and maintenance, and communicates supply needs.
•  Requires certification and basic science knowledge; associate degree and lab experience preferred.
