An established midsized defense firm in San Diego has an immediate opening in their employment law department for an attorney with at least 4 years of relevant litigation experience. We are seeking attorneys with substantive experience defending employers across a wide range of employment-related disputes. Core responsibilities for this position include:

  • Drafting substantive motions including motions to dismiss and summary judgments
  • Preparing compelling oppositions to a variety of motions
  • Investigating and analyzing liability and damages to develop effective case strategies
  • Conducting legal research
  • Preparing discovery requests/responses
  • Taking/defending depositions
  • Representing clients in court, hearings, trial, and alternative dispute resolution.
