What You Need
- 3 - 5 years of experience in the following areas:
- Employment law compliance advice and counseling
- Preparation and negotiation of employment agreements, separation agreements, and other employment and personnel related contracts, policies;
- Litigation, specifically trade secrets and employee mobility, wrongful termination, employment discrimination and harassment, whistleblower;
- Conducting due diligence, and drafting and negotiating employment-related agreements and aspects of purchase and merger agreements in the context corporate M&A transactions.
- You have strong writing skills.
- You have outstanding research and analytical skills.
- You are comfortable dealing directly with clients and can effectively balance multiple projects and be responsive to client advice and counseling requests.
- You have sound legal and business knowledge in working on a broad spectrum of cases and counseling clients with respect to ongoing matters.
- You have excellent communication skills and the ability to attentively listen, actively engage, and concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form.
- You have a strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for client matters to help you succeed on our team.
- You have strong academic credentials.
- You are a member of the California Bar.
