The Labor & Delivery RN Manager will oversee the Labor and Delivery unit. This is one unit out of the many women's center maternity services that include recovery rooms, antepartum & postpartum care, a newborn nursery, and a neonatal intensive care unit. The Manager will be supported by a Nurse Supervisor within the department who will assist in scheduling and ensuring patient satisfaction. Several Charge Nurses will also be within the department to assist with any departmental needs. The Manager will have the opportunity to form interdepartmental relations with other department leaders and staff to ensure smooth patient care and transfers to other units when needed.
