A mid-sized, full-service corporate law firm with offices in the Northeast and Southeast is seeking an experienced Employment & Labor Attorney to join its growing team in Northern New Jersey. The firm is recognized for its collaborative culture, commitment to professional development, and a strong emphasis on innovation and inclusion within the legal profession.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 5 to 15 years of experience in employment and labor law. The successful candidate will have a proven track record handling the defense of employment-related claims such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, restrictive covenant enforcement, and trade secret matters. Experience may include litigation in state or federal court, as well as proceedings before administrative agencies.

The position is part of a dynamic Employment & Labor Practice Group that provides the full range of management-side legal services-including litigation, counseling, and internal investigations. Additional experience in traditional labor law or ERISA matters is a plus but not required.

Qualifications:

  • Active bar admission in both New Jersey and New York.
  • Strong academic credentials and well-developed legal research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
