Labor & Employment Attorney - Newark
Our client, a full-service corporate law firm, is seeking an associate to join their Labor & Employment practice group in Newark, New Jersey.
Qualifications:
- 8-20 years of experience assisting with the defense of employment claims, such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, restrictive covenant enforcement and defense, and trade secret prosecution and defense in state and/or federal courts or before government agencies
- Experience with Human Resource Support and all phases of Employment Counseling
- Experience in traditional labor law and/or ERISA matters is a plus
- Excellent legal research, drafting and writing ability, and analytical and verbal communication skills are required
- Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
- Must have a JD from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
- Must be admitted to practice law in NY and NJ
