Labor & Employment Associate (Mid-Level) - New York
Our client is seeking a Mid-Level Associate to join its Labor & Employment Group in New York. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented attorney with 3-5 years of experience to contribute to a dynamic and growing practice.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide general employment advice and counseling, including drafting and reviewing employment, separation, and restrictive covenant agreements.
- Advise on wage and hour compliance, including employee classifications and general regulatory matters.
- Handle leave of absence issues, workplace policies, and compliance matters.
- Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including discrimination, wage and hour, and restrictive covenant disputes.
Qualifications: - 3-5 years of experience in labor and employment law at a reputable law firm.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters with attention to detail and strategic thinking.
- Admission to the New York Bar (or eligibility for admission).
Compensation & Benefits: - Salary Range: $235,000 - $365,000 (actual pay depends on experience and other factors).
