Job Summary: The Lab Technician is responsible for performing laboratory experiments, pilot-scale trials, and data collection under the supervision of R&D scientists.
The technician will assist in preparing formulations, performing membrane screenings, and supporting the development of new testing methods.
The role involves both laboratory work and general support duties, ensuring safety and accuracy in all processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare laboratory formulations and chemical solutions.
- Perform laboratory screening of new membrane formulations.
- Assist in R&D pilot runs by working with manufacturing equipment and personnel.
- Collect, analyze, interpret, and report experimental data.
- Fabricate and modify experimental apparatus or manufacturing equipment.
- Assist in the development of new testing methods and procedures.
- Provide laboratory support, including inventory maintenance, safety audits, and upkeep of the laboratory and warehouse.
- Perform general support duties as required.
Required Qualifications:- Associate degree or higher in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Biology, or a related field, or 2-3 years of laboratory experience in lieu of a degree.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Effective time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Ability to work at least 30 hours per week, with potential for 40+ hours.
