Lab Technician

ABR Employment Services is urgently hiring a 2nd Shift Quality Control Lab Technician for a client located in Brooklyn Park, MN. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is required. As a QC Lab Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring product quality through precise testing, analysis, and documentation. This position is ideal for someone with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in a fast-paced production setting. Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM
Some overtime and flexible hours may be required. Pay:
$23.00 per hour Key Responsibilities:
•   Monitor product quality to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications
•   Learn the fundamentals of coatings technology under supervision
•   Conduct experiments and tests using standard paint testing procedures
•   Compile and document results of all laboratory analyses
•   Support scientists in performing qualitative and quantitative chemical and physical tests
•   Maintain accurate records of experiments and findings
•   Promote a safe work environment through participation in safety programs and audits
•   Prepare paint batches based on standardized or experimental formulas
•   Perform general lab upkeep and maintenance (e.g., salt fogs, QUVs, milling room, temperature/humidity cabinets) Qualifications:
•  1-3 years Lab experience in the manufacturing/production industry
•   High school diploma or GED required
•   Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
•   Familiarity with SAP/WMS systems and ISO-9001 standards
