We are seeking an experienced Lab Technician with a background in packaging or cosmetics to join our team. This role is critical to developing and ensuring the quality of innovative packaging solutions tailored to the beauty industry.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical, chemical, and compatibility testing of packaging materials to ensure quality standards.
- Use Fishbowl ERP to manage inventory, track testing materials, and maintain accurate records.
- Support the development and validation of new packaging designs for cosmetic products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess product compatibility with packaging solutions.
- Accurately document all testing procedures, findings, and results.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate testing outcomes.
- Follow safety standards, protocols, and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field.
- Experience in packaging or cosmetics is required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of quality control processes and regulatory compliance within the cosmetics or packaging industry.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
