9AM-5PM- flexibility to stay until 6
$18.50-$20.00 depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Assembling kits, labeling, and boxing of finished goods.
- Equipment cleaning (biosafety cabinets, incubators, water baths, etc.)
- Assisting with inventory control.
- Assisting with receiving supplier material from Purchase Orders, checking Packing slips for accuracy and forwarding paperwork to Finance.
- Assisting with numbering incoming material, obtaining Certificates of Analysis and Certificates of Origin from the vendors and forwarding them to Quality Assurance for review and filing.
- General laboratory and work area cleaning, organization and maintenance.
- Counting inventory periodically, organizing inventory.
- Cleaning refrigerators and freezers periodically as well as work areas
- Other responsibilities may be applied as needed
Qualifications:
- Understands the importance of compliance with SOPs.
- Understand and follow production and maintenance schedules
- Basic math skills.
- Understands the flow of material through a manufacturing operation from receipt to manufacture to shipment.
- Organization skills include recordkeeping, time management and regular attendance.
- Written and oral communication, team oriented, independent work skills, diplomacy, strong work ethic.
- Able to work independently or in a team setting in manufacturing
- Minimum Education required: HS diploma
