Russell Tobin is supporting a world-class organization that has an opening for "Field Service Engineer- Lab Equipment"


Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair laboratory instrumentation, including LCMS, HPLC, GC, IC, and other analytical equipment. The ideal candidate will provide on-site and remote technical support, ensure compliance with GxP and regulatory standards, and deliver customer training on instrument operation and maintenance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, calibrate, and repair laboratory instruments at customer sites.
  • Perform preventive & corrective maintenance and ensure system validation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues on multi-vendor equipment.
  • Provide technical support and train customers on instrument usage.
  • Maintain documentation and comply with safety & regulatory guidelines.
  • Support sales teams with technical insights and service contract opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Experience in maintaining and servicing LCMS, HPLC, GC, or similar laboratory instruments.
  • Bachelor's/Associate's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent military experience).
  • Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer locations.
  • Experience in GxP environments is a plus.

Additional Information:

Location: Pasadena, CA 91101

Duration: 12 Months

Shift Timing: 7:30 AM to 4 PM

Pay Range: $42/hr. to $48/hr. on W2
