We have a great opportunity for laboratory technician who would like to be part of a large team working for a multinational global brand.

Our client manufactures, distributes, sells and markets some of the world's strongest brands in non-alcoholic beverages. It is a leading Western European marketer, distributor, and producer of bottles and can non-alcoholic refreshment.


Job title: Lab Analyst

Working hours: 3 on 3 off ( 12 hour shifts)

Shift timings: Day: 7AM - 7PM

Excellent pay rate : 13.50 ( first 12 weeks), 15.00 after 12 weeks

Responsibilities:

  • Collection and plating of micro and sensory samples from production lines
  • Collection of retained samples and organisation of retained stores
  • Setting up and Participation in Sensory sessions
  • Assisting Micro team with weekly and daily sample collection and plating tasks
  • Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned which will include the following
  • Preparing samples and dispatch to customer
  • Collecting prep sheets for process samples
  • Creating labels
  • Labelling and preparation for sensory testing
  • Printing and laminating resources for lab
  • Collecting and unpacking deliveries for the micro lab
  • You will ensure all relevant Quality and Health & Safety Procedures are followed


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience of working in a microbiological laboratory
  • Microbiology sampling and testing/counting experience/qualificationHealth and wellbeing
  • GCSE Math's and English, or equivalent is required, as well as basic PC skills
