We are seeking a skilled Kubernetes Engineer to deploy, configure, and maintain secure Kubernetes environments. This role focuses on ensuring platform reliability, security, and seamless CI/CD integration.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters for secure and scalable applications
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using DevSecOps tools
Install, configure, and sustain VMware Tanzu environments for container orchestration
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible
Automate monitoring, scaling, and security compliance for Kubernetes environments
Troubleshoot and resolve container-related issues in production environments
Collaborate with security teams to enhance compliance, monitoring, and resilience
Provide system documentation, user training, and technical support for developers
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Active U.S. DoD Secret Clearance
IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE, CySA+, GSEC, or equivalent)
6+ years of IT experience, with 3+ years working with Kubernetes and containerized applications
2+ years of experience deploying & maintaining VMware Tanzu clusters
Expertise in containerization, microservices architecture, and DevSecOps methodologies
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and security compliance
Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) for automated deployments
Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration Environments
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of DevSecOps experience
Proven experience implementing DevSecOps pipelines in VMware Tanzu environments
Experience integrating security automation in Kubernetes-based deployments
Expertise in Platform as a Service (PaaS) deployments and refactoring applications for cloud integration
Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
