Kotlin Mobile Developer

Insight Global is currently seeking a Kotlin Mobile Developer for a company based in Plano, TX. This developer will support a new product development team that focuses on innovation to design the equipment used in their stores. The main responsibilities include developing the control systems on the equipment and designing the screen that the user will use and is written in Kotlin that connects to the control system that is run on the PLC. To be successful in this position the team is looking for someone who has strong development skills and can code from scratch in Kotlin.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of application development experience - can develop from scratch with Kotlin
Experience releasing and scaling a mobile application from scratch
Able to work onsite

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Message Que Telemetry Transport Protocol/MQTT experience
PLC understanding/electrical systems & programming experience - Currently using Automation Direct, but Allen Bradley or Siemens experience works
Controls engineering experience - able to complete design specks with wire panels
