Responsibilities: Knowledge Management Specialist develops and maintains organization's knowledge management environment to foster effective collaboration and information sharing across organizations and tools. Administers Knowledge Management sites to include Foreign Disclosure, libraries, and permissions. Develops and implements knowledge management strategies to optimize the use of information resources across networks and databases to include event SharePoint (i.e. APAN, DoD SharePoint); knowledge management systems; AAR/LL databases. Develops, manages, updates, and maintains KM systems (e.g., SharePoint sites, databases, libraries, and internal websites) that can serve as repositories for storing, sharing, and utilizing data. Manages and maintains records and information systems according to applicable regulations. Ensures records are accurate, accessible, and secure. Creates and maintains virtual communities of interest to enable USINDOPACOM and other Alpha stakeholders to collaborate, store, search, and discover information and share lessons learned and best practices, and report and track metrics to assess progress against various programs, policies, and strategies. Expert level proficiency with knowledge-sharing tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, to include optimizing performance, maintaining security protocols, and controlling user access. Also supports the deployment and customization of SharePoint sites and solutions. Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range: $100,000-150,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
