POSITION OVERVIEW:

White Castle Las Vegas is looking for friendly, energetic, and team-oriented individuals to join us as Team Members. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
  • Master all operational areas of the restaurant, including grill, fryer, cashier, dining room attendant, and expo.
  • Clearly communicate department goals to hourly team members at the start of each shift, ensuring they are understood and followed.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure proper training for newly hired team members.
  • Address and counsel team members on work-related concerns to promote job satisfaction and productivity, involving management as needed.
  • Actively listen to team suggestions for improving operations and guest service; escalate ideas to management for consideration.
  • Continuously train and coach team members on all aspects of their roles.
  • Work with management to ensure clear understanding of roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations among team members.
  • Address guest concerns, requests, or issues personally or with the assistance of management or team members.
  • Provide constructive feedback to help team members grow and improve performance.
  • Collaborate with management on initiatives to enhance team performance and operational efficiency.
  • Enforce compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, SNHD regulations, and department-specific standards.
  • Support management in recognizing and celebrating team member contributions through recognition programs.
  • Assist in managing basic HR concerns of hourly employees (e.g., payroll, scheduling) while enlisting management support as needed.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for team members, providing fair, consistent, and supportive guidance.
  • Supervise daily shift operations, including assigning workstations, coordinating breaks, completing manager checklists, and handling cash operations (e.g., counting the safe).
  • Lead by example in technical and functional duties such as food preparation, sanitation, and operational tasks.
  • Help drive positive financial results through effective waste management, labor control, and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment for both team members and guests.
  • Remain visible on the floor throughout the entire meal period, ensuring coverage and team support (except during breaks).
  • Enforce uniform and health card compliance for yourself and team members.
  • Perform regular inspections of the venue, reporting and following up on maintenance needs with management.
  • Set a strong example and uphold standards of honesty, integrity, respect, and teamwork at all times.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Must be 18 years of age
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. repeatedly

  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks at once.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will oversee the Kitchen Workers.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations. This position will require the attainment of:
  • Southern Nevada Health District Food Handlers Card
