Kitchen Operations Supervisor, where you will thrive in a vibrant, fast-paced environment dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality. In this role, you will manage the kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef, oversee food preparation and inventory management, and play a key role in scheduling and training our culinary team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Collaborate with the Chef to direct the preparation and presentation of food across all Lodge venues.
- Adhere to local Health Department food preparation codes and regulations.
- Support the Chef in hiring, training, supervising, and scheduling chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff to ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation.
- Foster a positive working relationship with hotel staff for seamless operations and service delivery.
- Contribute innovative ideas for new menus and items based on current food trends and regional preferences, aligning with revenue goals.
- Assist in auditing food storerooms and ensuring product quality through proper storage practices.
- Execute food preparation tasks for various ingredients, following recipes and adjusting flavors as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the back of house area to meet service standards.
- Monitor supply levels and replenish as necessary to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Oversee equipment functionality, perform maintenance, and coordinate repairs when needed.
- Ensure compliance with all sanitation and food handling regulations.
Basic Qualifications & Skills - High School diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in restaurant kitchens.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.
Desired Qualifications & Traits - Culinary education degree preferred.
- 1+ years of supervisory experience in a kitchen setting.
- Experience with hands-on equipment maintenance.
- Prior kitchen experience in a hotel or resort environment.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and ability to maintain a clean food preparation area.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Physical Requirements - Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
