Description

The Line Cook is directly responsible for preparing food to the Chef's exact specifications and to set up stations for menu. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the Executive Chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.

Essential Functions:
  1. Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  2. Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces.
  3. Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  4. Answer, report and follows. Reports to kitchen Manager or Supervisor if Manager is not available
  5. Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
  6. Stock inventory appropriately
  7. Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
  8. Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  9. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
  10. Conduct and complete any other duties requested by Senior Management or Human Resources Department.
Requirements

Required Education and Experience:
  1. 4+ years cooking and kitchen experience
  2. California Food Handlers Card
  3. Employee Health Certificate
