Job Title:Kids on Campus - Summer Program Facilitator
Pay Rate:$17.08 - $18.79 hourly

Position Summary:Position Summary:
This position supports the Kids on Campus program specifically but not limited to the strategic operation and coordination of summer youth classes and activities located on the main campus. The program facilitator position communicates daily with staff, students and parents and is responsible for providing essential communication, assistance and support for each week-long summer class. This position must work effectively with children from 8 - 15 years of age in a diverse, multicultural educational setting. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following are the functions essential to performing this job:1. Attend Orientation before the start of the summer program.2. Supervise students and assume responsibility for all students when necessary.3. Design and manage system to ensure that students move between lunch and their classrooms safely.4. Assure all instructors have been supplied class packets.5. Verify all instructors have completed attendance sheets, sign in & out documents, and fire drill requirements.6. Manage daily supply distribution or each course.7. Put up and remove weekly signage directing students and parents to classrooms and direct parents as needed.8. Distribute special notices, teacher memos, and classroom administrative supplies to classrooms.9. Assist classroom teacher and program staff as requested.10. Provide instruction for classes in the event that an instructor is absent.11. Assure all defined safety measures are adhered to.12. Fill out incident reports and Health Log when necessary.13. Administrative support as needed.14. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications:1. At least 18 years of age2. High School Diploma/GED3. One year experience working with youth4. Able to lift 19 pounds
Desired Qualifications:1. Associates Degree or two (2) years of college experience2. Experience working in the Kids on Campus program at FCC3. Excellent communication skills4. Ability to work with minimum supervision5. Ability to take direction
Work Schedule:8:30-4:30 Monday to Friday
The schedule will be variable based on enrollment, but will not exceed 35 hours per week.
