Job Summary
The manufacturing company is a $20M, ARR, 55+ person company in Denver, Colorado. We have grown about 25% a year for the last 13 years since our inception. We are ISO9001 certified. Our product families are fluid power components such as hydraulic fittings, stainless steel swage type fittings, low pressure stainless steel fittings, hydraulic hose, valves and other related accessories. Our customers are nationwide and include multiple Fortune 500 clients, startups as well as individual consumers from our portfolio of website stores where we average 70,000+ visitors per month.
As our Key Account Manager, you will be directly responsible for building and maintaining your own accounts. Your goal will be to build and leverage relationships to drive top line revenue growth.
We are a small firm but our addressable market is $20B annually in America. The major companies in our space are Parker Hannifin, Gates, Swagelok and others. We believe we can win market share as we are manufacturer-direct, have excellent customer service and sell on value not just price. - Strong base salary ($75-100,000+) depending on experience
- No cap on commission (total compensation range: $50,000 to $200,000 and up)

Key Responsibilities
- Leverage your existing relationships to drive growth with the company's product portfolio.
- Achieve quarterly quota goals.
- Find "needle-in-the-haystack" accounts in our customer list that can turn "deer into elephant" level of accounts. You will only need 20ish accounts to achieve this.
- Understand our products from a deep technical level.
- Set meetings, video presentations etc. with your administrator
- Build strong professional relationships with our clients.
- Manage client portals.
- Quote customers via your administrator or yourself if needed.
- Keep CRM hygiene to a high level.
- 50% travel.
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree preferred but not required.
- Selling into data centers, industrial plants, manufacturing clients.
- Existing relationships to leverage across the company's portfolio of products.
- Experience with technical sales: understanding of specs, engineering drawings etc.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal abilities and a proactive approach to building lasting relationships
- A detail-oriented perspective with the ability to stay aligned with broader business goals
