Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Key Account Manager to manage and grow strategic client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and business expansion. This role requires a client-focused professional who can build strong partnerships, collaborate closely with internal teams, and drive solutions that align with both customer goals and JD Logistics' capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, managing day-to-day communications, relationship development, and service delivery.
  • Build strong, long-term client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and service enhancements, collaborating with sales and operations teams to drive additional value.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, logistics, sales, and customer service) to ensure seamless execution and proactive problem resolution.
  • Develop and present regular performance reviews, including account performance, KPIs, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor market trends, client feedback, and operational data to continuously enhance service quality and identify growth opportunities.
  • Act as an escalation point, resolving issues quickly while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Lead customer onboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions and strong initial engagement.
  • Leverage technology and data insights to improve client performance tracking and drive proactive recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5-8+ years of experience in key account management, client relations, or customer success, ideally within logistics, 3PL, supply chain, or e-commerce industries.
  • Strong relationship management and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of managing key accounts and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and data analysis tools to track and improve account performance.
  • Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain operations, with the ability to align customer needs with JD Logistics' capabilities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across departments and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Fluency in English required; Mandarin is a plus.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Bonus: Performance-based annual bonus.
