Our client a supplier of high-end educational furniture and equipment is looking for a Territory Sales Manager for Westchester and surrounding counties.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in furniture sales, a deep understanding of the K-12 market, and a proven ability to build relationships with school districts, architects, designers, construction managers and procurement professionals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with school administrators, district decision-makers, facility managers, purchasing departments, and superintendents.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the K-12 market.
- Work closely with manufacturers, designers, and project teams to create tailored furniture solutions for educational spaces.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and presentations to closing deals and ensuring successful project execution.
Qualifications
- 8+ years strong OUTSIDE sales experience selling a non-commodity product
- Sales experience within the K-12/higher education, luxury/high-end furniture, custom architectural furniture, Institutional Furniture, or similar industry
- Strong presentation skills
- Project Management experience
- Salesforce/ CRM experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
