Responsibilities Noblis ESI is seeking a highly motivated Information System Security Specialist with a strong focus on JWICS to join our dynamic team in Dayton, Ohio. This critical role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the security and advancement of information systems and network-delivered solutions. The selected candidate will primarily be responsible for providing Information System Security Manager (ISSM) support for JWICS, including maintaining system security plans, conducting security assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. This role also entails providing comprehensive IT customer support for a 50-person office with 150 systems, including security analysis, troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues, performing machine imaging, managing user accounts and access controls, and supporting SIPRNet and NIPRNet systems as needed. Responsibilities Include: Primarily responsible for providing Information System Security Manager (ISSM) support for JWICS systems, ensuring compliance with DISA STIGs, NIST Special Publications, and other relevant security regulations. Develop, maintain, and update System Security Plans (SSPs) for JWICS systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans of JWICS systems, identifying and mitigating potential security risks. Perform security analysis of system logs and security alerts to identify potential security breaches or vulnerabilities. Document all troubleshooting steps, security-related actions, and customer interactions within the ITSM system. Identify and report application and technical problem trends, including potential security vulnerabilities, and propose mitigation plans. Manage user accounts and access controls for all systems, including password resets, account creation, security group assignments, and adherence to the principle of least privilege. Install, configure, troubleshoot, secure, and perform machine imaging on client workstations, laptops, and peripherals. Implement software patches, security fixes, and service releases, ensuring compliance with security directives. Assist with troubleshooting of VTC/GVS issues, with a focus on security configurations and protocols. Field and research IA policy questions, providing guidance and support to users, especially regarding JWICS security requirements. Implement and manage a quality ITSM program, including event management, problem management, request fulfillment, and access management, with a strong emphasis on security incident management. Develop and maintain IT service documentation, including user guides, instructions, and process flowcharts, incorporating security best practices and procedures. Coordinate with AFNET ESD to resolve network connectivity issues, including troubleshooting security-related configurations. Participate in security incident response activities, including identifying, containing, and eradicating threats. Provide support for SIPRNet and NIPRNet systems as needed. Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including hardware and software, for the office. Provide IT support, emphasizing customer service, security best practices, and timely ticket resolution for all systems (JWICS, SIPRNet, NIPRNet). Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. US Citizenship is required. Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant IT experience. Active CompTIA Security+ certification. Experience working with classified networks (NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS) and implementing security controls. In-depth knowledge of JWICS (Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System) security requirements, policies, and procedures. Experience with machine imaging and system deployment tools. Desired Qualifications ITIL certification. Familiarity with Air Force and DoD IT policies and directives, including cybersecurity regulations. Experience with ITSM systems and processes, including security incident management. Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues with a focus on security implications. Experience with security tools such as SIEM, intrusion detection systems, or vulnerability scanners. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Experience with Microsoft OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams, including security configurations and best practices. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team environment. Flexibility to adapt to changing situations. Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked.
