We are seeking a Junior Software Developer at our Dewsbury HQ to support our expanding IT team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and skill development within the company. Details are as follows:

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, support, and maintain web-based PHP applications using Laravel Framework.
- Collaborate with senior developers to deliver high-quality software that meets business needs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and secure code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and design discussions to enhance solution quality and scalability.
- Stay updated with emerging software development trends and technologies.
- Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Work with business analysts to ensure applications are user-friendly and fit for purpose.
- Build responsive user interfaces using Vue.js Framework.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge or experience with Laravel, Vue.js, or similar frameworks.
- Understanding of relational databases such as SQL.
- Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and keen attention to detail.
- Interest or experience in generative AI, especially Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), preferably using Python.
- Familiarity with development tools (e.g., Git, Docker, VS Code) and technologies (e.g., REST APIs, JSON).
