Job Title: Junior Software Developer
Location: Memphis, TN or Remote
Duration: 12 Months (Contract to Hire)
Pay rate: $20-$24
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Analyst / Software Developer to support a range of strategic and tactical software projects. The ideal candidate will possess programming experience in Progress 4GL or React, and be capable of contributing to software development, analysis, and system design. This role involves assisting with requirement gathering, technical analysis, coding, and collaboration with developers, quality analysts, and project managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in analyzing business and system requirements for software development projects.
- Contribute to the design, development, and testing of simple to moderately complex software solutions.
- Develop and test software using Informatica, PL/SQL, Progress, and other technologies.
- Support the implementation and deployment of software releases.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in software development or related IT roles.
- Strong knowledge of PL/SQL or similar procedural languages.
- Experience with Oracle databases, Progress 4GL, React, or other open-source technologies.
- Familiarity with UNIX command line, Korn Shell Script, Perl, and Informatica.
