Our client, a international freight forwarder in Los Angeles, is seeking a motivated Junior Sales Representative to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level sales professional looking to grow in the logistics and supply chain industry. You will work closely with senior sales executives to develop new business, nurture client relationships, and drive revenue growth in air, ocean, and ground freight services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with shippers, importers/exporters, and logistics decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends and potential clients.
  • Assist in preparing sales proposals, rate quotes, and contract negotiations.
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to expand professional network.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1-2 years of sales experience (freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain experience is a plus but not required).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and a drive to succeed.
  • Basic understanding of international trade (Incoterms, customs, documentation) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.
