A well-established general contracting firm in North Jersey is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support ground-up multifamily residential projects. This role offers hands-on project experience with a strong focus on submittal and shop drawing review, ideal for someone with a construction-related degree and Procore proficiency.

Our client is a mid-sized general contractor with a strong pipeline of multifamily developments in the New Jersey/New York metro area. With a reputation for high-quality execution and collaborative team culture, the firm specializes in both wood frame and steel/concrete construction, with a current emphasis on more complex concrete and steel structures.
Description
Project Management: Manage and track submittals and shop drawing reviews throughout all phases of construction
Team Leadership: Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
Schedule Management: Assist the Senior Project Manager with daily project oversight, scheduling, and progress tracking
Documentation: Utilize Procore for documentation management, RFI tracking, and project reporting
Quality Control: Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual standards. Support field operations and site logistics planning as needed.
Profile
3-5 years of experience in ground-up multifamily construction (steel/concrete preferred; wood frame acceptable)
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Demonstrated proficiency in Procore project management software
Strong experience reviewing submittals and shop drawings - this is a core part of the role
Excellent communication and coordination skills with a proactive, detail-oriented approach
