Production Planner
Salary: $25/hr
Location: Twinsburg, OH

Overview: The Production Planner will be an integral part of the supply chain planning team, assisting with the coordination and management of production, MRO, and project materials. The opportunity focuses on executing work orders, managing material flow, and supporting planning efforts for both ongoing and future production projects.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent work experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 1-2+ years of experience in a supply chain or planning role, with a foundational understanding of production and operations.
• Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems such as SAP or Oracle is required.
• Basic knowledge of Bill of Materials (BoM) management and production routing processing required.
• Familiarity with inventory management techniques such as cycle counting, ABC analysis, and demand forecasting.
• Experience with non-conforming material handling, including documentation, scrap processing, and repair order management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of production and operations processes.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Capability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma is a plus. Responsibilities:
• Manage MRO Materials by overseeing kit pulling, material put-away activities, and parts request and parts pulling.
• Support MRO Planning by assisting with forecasting materials using new forecasting tools.
• Update material master data MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul)
• Provide back-up support for OE Planner by stepping in as needed to support Original Equipment.
• Release and Manage Work Orders by ensuring work orders are created, released, and tracked effectively through production.
• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
• Physical Demands: May require long periods of sitting.
