Overview: We are seeking a Junior Network Engineer to support and manage wireless network systems for enterprise clients. The role is based in Alpharetta, GA and requires onsite presence with no remote flexibility. You will be responsible for hands-on network troubleshooting, customer communication, and managing tickets, while also providing escalation support and technical leadership on wireless deployments. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with solid fundamentals and a desire to grow into a senior-level network role. Key Responsibilities: Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise wired and wireless networks Provide escalation-level support to network technicians and service desk Act as a liaison between clients and internal technical teams, delivering strong customer service and solutions Support pre-sales engineering efforts and consultation for wireless solutions Work independently on field deployments, upgrades, and troubleshooting Maintain and upgrade firmware on switches, access points, and other equipment Document network configurations and resolve client outages in real time Assist in mentoring junior staff and managing ticket workflows Technical Requirements: 2+ years of hands-on network support and troubleshooting experience Strong Layer 2/3 networking knowledge (switching and routing) Proficient in IPv4 (including subnetting), with solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, NTP Deep understanding of 802.11 WiFi and RF principles Strong customer-facing communication (phone, email, in-person) Required: Experience with Ruckus Wireless equipment in a production/enterprise environment Preferred: Cisco networking knowledge, Access Point setup, switch configuration, firmware upgrades Certifications: CCNA or CWNA a plus, but not required Must be self-motivated and comfortable working independently Preferred Attributes: Experience configuring/staging equipment such as switches and access points Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues under pressure with clients present Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and work without supervision Comfortable working flexible schedules, including some weekend assignments Important Notes: Remote work is not allowed â€" candidates must be 100% onsite Candidates asking about remote options during interviews will be disqualified Must be able to commute daily to the Alpharetta office Sponsorship is not available Must be OK with 30% travel (week-long trips may be required) Location: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite Only â€" No Remote) Employment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Direct Hire Pay Range (Contract): $43.27 â€" $52.88/hr (W2) Conversion Salary: $90K â€" $110K Schedule: Monday â€" Friday, 8:00 AM â€" 5:00 PM Travel: Up to 30% (occasional week-long travel within the U.S.) Interested in learning more?
