The international IT company Andersen invites a Junior Java Developer in Oman to work on large-scale projects.

This position requires working on-site in Oman.
Responsibilities
- Build scalable, highly available, robust systems and ensure their continuous delivery.
- Collaborate with other backend engineers to design, develop, deploy, and maintain features of our platform.
- Work on our current Product platform built using DDD, CQRS techniques, and a microservice architecture.
- Participate as part of an Agile cross-functional team of up to 10 people.
- Contribute to and own our backend engineering culture, learning from talented colleagues.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Java Developer.
- Practical knowledge of the latest Java features, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and MySQL or other RDBMS like PostgreSQL or OracleDB.
- Experience with transaction-heavy systems and tools such as Docker.
- Understanding of open-source principles and good software development practices.
- English level - Intermediate+ or higher.
Desired skills
- Experience with distributed systems, messaging, microservices, and tools like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
- Knowledge of CQRS, DDD, TDD, NoSQL databases, and event sourcing.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, GCP, and other cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
- Experience working with teams in FinTech, Healthcare, Retail, Telecom, and collaborations with companies like Samsung, Siemens, Johnson & Johnson, BNP Paribas, Ryanair, Mercedes, TUI, Verivox, Allianz, T-Systems, etc.
- Openness to project changes and developing expertise in new business domains.
