Position Purpose

Farmina Pet Foods is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join our growing Marketing team. This entry-level role is ideal for a pet loving creative and detail-oriented individual looking to build hands-on experience in both print and digital design. You'll work closely with our Graphic Designer to support various projects across our Retail, Veterinary, and Breeder sales channels while helping bring our brand to life through marketing materials, digital platforms, and in-store materials.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of design experience (including internships or freelance work).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator); familiarity with Premiere, After Effects, Figma and/or Canva is a plus
  • Knowledge of web design or basic HTML/CSS
  • Understanding basic design principles (Hierarchy, Color, Typography, Layout)
  • An ability to interpret briefs and turn them into strong concepts following brand guidelines and adapt global standards to localized materials.
  • Experience in Print design (Sizing, File Types, Knowledge of print setup + Color Modes)
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects with shifting deadlines.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a range of design work across print and digital (e.g., branding, UI, social graphics, print) to show adaptability.
  • Degree in Graphic Design or a related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Graphic Designer in the development of marketing materials across print and digital formats.
  • Make updates to existing files and templates while ensuring consistency with Farmina's global brand standards.
  • Assist in creating assets for social media, email campaigns, digital ads, website banners, and presentations.
  • Help design and format printed materials such as posters, leaflets, flyers, signage, and POP collateral.
  • Prepare visual content for internal and external communications.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining an internal library of creative assets.
  • Participate in brainstorms and contribute design ideas for upcoming campaigns or promotions.
  • Support special design projects and promotional campaigns as needed.
