Job Overview:
As a Junior Financial Analyst on our client's team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the cloud development projects. Your role will involve assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial insights. You will have the opportunity to work with innovative cloud solutions and contribute to the growth of Samsung's cloud business.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including budget vs. actual analysis, variance reports, and ad-hoc financial requests.
- Support in the analysis of cloud development projects, including cost allocation, resource planning, and financial impact assessments.
- Help track financial performance against targets and support corrective actions when necessary.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in the creation of annual budgets for cloud development initiatives, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals of the business.
- Contribute to quarterly forecasting processes and help provide detailed analysis of forecasted performance.
- Maintain and track financial data, ensuring accuracy and consistency in the financial models.
Financial Modeling & Data Analysis:
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate cloud project costs and other key financial metrics.
- Analyze historical financial data to support long-term planning and budgeting processes for cloud development.
Collaboration with Teams:
- Work closely with cloud development teams to understand project requirements and align financial resources accordingly.
- Partner with senior finance team members to provide insights and recommendations on cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Assist with financial decision-making by providing actionable insights on project budgets and financial forecasts.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting and forecasting activities for the cloud development team.
- Help develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for financial processes related to cloud projects.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Certification in financial analysis (eg, CFA Level I or related) is a plus.
Experience:
- 2 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in technology or cloud computing industries.
- Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with financial software (eg, Excel, NetSuite).
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of cloud computing financial models, pricing strategies, and industry trends.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
