Job Description:
The Level 0 Junior Engineer will perform Level 1 restoration tasks using documented SOPs, Confluence sites, and historical tickets, while ensuring continuous monitoring of mission-critical systems. Key responsibilities include supporting the development of signal exploitation capabilities, analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance criteria, and interpreting hardware specifications to create practical designs for components such as servers, network devices, and storage devices. The Junior Engineer will also contribute to systems engineering documentation and assist in the development and allocation of system requirements.
The Level 0 Junior Engineer shall possess the following capabilities: Support a range of analytical products and functions to allow for development of signal exploitation capabilities.
Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
Analyze hardware specifications and system/subsystem requirements to conceive and document a practical design for hardware components to include servers, network devices, transmission media, storage devices, user interface devices, and special processors
Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
Assist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components. Qualifications: A minimum of one (1) year engineering experience. BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent technical field is highly desirable and can substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
