About the role
The team's primary focus is to contribute to our "Digital First" journey, enhancing customer experience through innovative, automated, and disruptive digital solutions via our websites, portals, and mobile app. This involves working across various technologies and channels, requiring a broad technical skillset and adaptability to new technologies.
You will join a capable, enthusiastic team working on a range of technologies in a friendly environment. Additionally, as part of the wider Systems Development team, you will have the opportunity to tackle large-scale technical challenges during our re-platforming journey.
Our technologies include:
- C and .NET Core
- Web APIs
- Docker
- Git
What we're looking for:
- Experience in C and .NET
- Experience in React and TypeScript
- Understanding of developing and consuming REST APIs
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Effective communication skills and team collaboration
- Experience with source control (Git, TFS, GitLab, or others)
- Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with Databases (SQL Server, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, or others)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GoCD, or others)
- Understanding of TDD
- Knowledge of technical design patterns and architectural principles
- Awareness of Docker and Kubernetes
