Junior Servicenow Administrator

ACTIVE TS/SCI SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED The Junior CMDB Administrator is responsible for assisting in the development, management, and maintenance of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the organizations ITIL framework. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in configuring and running ServiceNow Discovery to identify assets and services across multiple networks Support the deployment of Cloud Discovery for AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments Help with Service Mapping preparation, ensuring accurate application service representation in the CMDB Work with senior engineers to configure and optimize IRE rules to maintain data integrity Monitor and troubleshoot discovery issues under guidance from senior team members Assist in documenting processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to gather requirements and refine discovery schedules Support CMDB data analysis and validation efforts Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.) Bachelor's Degree and 1+ years of relevant experience or Associate's Degree and 3+ years of relevant experience or High School Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience Experience with ServiceNow CMDB and/or ITOM modules Basic knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery and Cloud Discovery concepts Active TS/SCI clearance Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to successfully obtain CI Poly Knowledge of network protocols, IP addressing, and infrastructure components. Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets within the CMDB. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or working towards a CMDB/Discovery certification. Preferred - Experience with ITSM and ITOM modules in ServiceNow. Preferred - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Ability to think critically and solve complex issues Ability to work with other teams and stakeholders to ensure mission success Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $65-75k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
