Job Overview: We are looking for a motivated and analytical Junior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with 0 to 2 years of experience in data analysis and reporting using tools such as SAS, SQL, and Tableau. As a Junior BI Analyst, you will support our BI team in transforming data into actionable insights, generating reports, and contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities: - Data Analysis: Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data from various business sources to support decision-making.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau, ensuring clarity and consistency.
- Data Management: Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and ensure the integrity of the data.
- Tool Utilization: Utilize SAS for extract, clean, and analyze data to derive insights, generate reports and support business needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior BI analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements to deliver actionable insights.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data across reports and dashboards.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Support ad-hoc data requests and troubleshooting.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science or 1 to 2 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of SQL, SAS coding experience.
- Basic knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Tableau.
Preferred Qualifications: - Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools to create dashboards and reports.
- Hands-on experience with SAS for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and an ability to work with large datasets.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
