LHH is working with a rapidly growing Financial Services company located in San Francisco who is seeking a skilled Junior Accountant to join the team. As a company, they are committed to providing exceptional service to their clients while also contributing to positive change in the community. They are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated, and experienced Junior Accountant.


Responsibilities:

  • Record financial transactions, maintain accurate ledgers, and reconcile accounts
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
  • Conduct financial analysis and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is a plus
  • 1+ years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Pay

  • $28-$32 based on experience
