Our client is excited to welcome a friendly, eager Junior Account Executive with 0-2 years of sales or customer-facing experience to join their team, focusing on selling furniture to private schools and independent school districts. Based in Des Moines, IA, you'll work solo to bring awesome furniture-like desks, chairs, and storage-to classrooms, learning the ropes with support along the way. If you love meeting new people, solving problems, and helping schools create better learning spaces, this is a fantastic starting point to launch your sales career.
What You'll Do:
- Sell with Enthusiasm: Start building sales by connecting with schools in the Des Moines area, with guidance to help you meet your goals.
- Make Connections: Get to know school admins and decision-makers, learning to become their go-to furniture friend.
- Explore New Opportunities: Assist with outreach, networking, and finding new schools who might need our furniture, with training provided.
- Showcase the Products: Share furniture options-like sturdy desks and comfy seats-highlighting their safety and practicality, with support from the team.
- Support the Process: Help prepare offers and learn to handle school bids, keeping things simple and budget-friendly.
- Keep Clients Happy: Assist with follow-ups from initial contact to delivery, ensuring schools have a positive experience.
- Stay Curious: Learn about school furniture trends and what competitors are doing with help from the team.
- Team Support: Work with marketing and logistics folks to get furniture to schools on time, gaining hands-on experience.
- Track Your Progress: Log your early wins in our CRM and share updates with the team as you grow.
- Hit the Road: Join site visits and trade shows to learn the industry-travel's part of the adventure with support.
What We'd Love to See:
