The Nevada Supreme Court is seeking a
Judicial Education Support Specialist. Step into a dynamic role where you'll play a pivotal part in shaping the future of judicial education. Under general supervision, you'll perform a variety of clerical, secretarial, and administrative tasks to support the Judicial Branch Education Unit and its various education initiatives. This includes in-person events, online learning initiatives, and the Continuous Learning Plan/Program. Use your skillset to support multiple educational programs within the framework of established policies and procedures.
This position may require occasional work on holidays, nights, and/or weekends and may involve travel. The position is based in Carson City.
After an initial training period, there may be an opportunity for a hybrid remote/in-office schedule.
Examples of Work: - Creating Meeting Summaries: Review meeting recordings and prepare insightful summaries for various judicial education committees.
- Developing Educational Materials: Collaborate in creating impactful publications and materials that enhance education programs across multiple learning formats.
- Orchestrating Programs: Coordinate and manage logistics for a variety of educational initiatives, including in-person events and online learning opportunities.
- Supporting Distance and Continuous Learning: Assist in developing, delivering, and maintaining both distance education offerings and elements of the Continuous Learning Plan/Program.
- Managing Participant Registration: Register and track participants across all program formats, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.
- Team Collaboration: Provide administrative and logistical support to other members of the Court's education team.
- Event Support: Assist with onsite execution of events and provide follow-up support as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
Qualifications - Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in administrative and clerical procedures.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.
- Proficient in office software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- A willingness to learn and ask questions.

Must have expertise in virtual meeting platforms, such as Teams. Must have the ability to work remotely via an internet network connection provided by the employee.
