JR Systems Engineering Support with Security Clearance

Job Summary Provides Configuration Management support to the MUOS Narrowband Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Program. Travel is required. Responsibilities and Duties Coordinates Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and adheres to configuration management best practices. Participates in design reviews, integration and test readiness reviews, manufacturing and production readiness reviews, and perform functional and physical configuration audits. Assesses impacts of approved configuration changes and support implementation of updates necessary to support fielding of those changes. Ensures system supportability updates are applied to support changes to the functional configuration baseline. Qualifications and Skills Required knowledge and years of experience Must have at least three (3) years of experience. Must have at least three (3) years of related experience applying fundamental concepts, processes, practices and procedures supporting implementation of configuration management best practices. Must have knowledge of fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures supporting implementation of configuration management best practices. Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field. Certifications Certified Configuration Management Professional (CCMP) or similar certification desired. Clearance Requirement Secret Salary The minimum salary starts at $90,000, and the max is negotiable based on experience.
