The QC Tech will start the day by printing all the necessary SOP's for pending QC inspections for incoming raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods. After training is completed, they will inspect these incoming materials (i.e. labels, raw material components, semi-finished components, finished kits) against the Specifications noted on the Summary sheets of the related SOP's. If any Non-conformances are discovered, they will initiate a Quality Notification in SAP and notify the supervisor of their findings. Pass or Fail entries will be entered in SAP. QC samples and Retention samples will be collected at the end of the inspection and the QC samples will be brought to the Laboratory QC team for functional testing and the retention samples will be brought to B800 to be kept in the locked retention area.
How You'll Make An Impact:
- Perform Routine Quality Control Assays in accordance of approved Procedures.
- Compile data, analyze and summarize results.
- Troubleshoot assays, as required.
- Complete instrument and lab maintenance per schedule.
- Perform inventory of testing materials and order as needed.
- Work closely with team to complete required testing per schedule.
- Complete transactions in ERP system, including results recording.
- Communicate effectively with team members and cross functional groups.
- Train per SOP/WI.
• Revise/Update QC Procedures and Work Instructions. - Maintain complete and accurate documentation upholding Good Documentation Practices.
- Maintain 5s and uphold a safe work environment.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field.
- 1-4 years working in a general manufacturing environment formulating products in the areas of biological, sciences, life sciences, or an equivalent.
- Experience working in a GMP manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience in handling hazardous chemicals and/or biological hazardous materials.
- Experience with SOP's
- Able to follow detailed procedures and have good documentation skills.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Process and Good Laboratory Practices.
- Bonus: experience in using ERP systems- SAP
- Bonus: Background in statistical analysis and process capability studies
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment
